Get ready for France
Housing, Transport and Visa
On this page, you will find all the necessary information regarding housing options, transport, and visa requirements to help you get settled and ready for your studies.
Visa
requirements
A student visa is mandatory for your stay in France. If your program lasts less than three months, you will receive a short-stay visa. For stays lasting longer than three months or up to six months, you will be issued a temporary long-stay visa, which does not require further formalities upon arrival in France. Be sure to check all the visa requirements and start your application process early. For more detailed information on visa applications and requirements, visit the official French government website

Accommodation
options
EKLYA School of Business has a partnership with an Aparthotel, offering students convenient accommodation options. However, many students also choose to explore other housing options to find more affordable or personalized solutions. Platforms like Airbnb offer reliable and convenient accommodation choices, and we encourage you to consider them as they provide various price ranges and flexibility.
Getting Around
France
Navigating France is easy with its extensive public transport network, including trains, buses, and metros. Specifically in Lyon, we offer TCL, which provides access to all buses, metros, and trains within the city. We recommend purchasing student passes for discounted fares. For those who prefer cycling, it’s also a great and eco-friendly way to get around.
