International Business and Cultural Insights

In an era where adaptability and a deep understanding of diverse cultures are paramount, EKLYA’s Summer School provides a two-week immersive experience designed to broaden students’ academic and cultural perspectives. Participants engage in a comprehensive programme that combines theoretical knowledge with practical workshops, interactive projects, and cultural exploration.

Students will analyze global market trends, explore strategies for international business development, and enhance their communication skills through practical lessons designed to navigate daily life in a French-speaking environment. The programme blends experiential learning with cultural immersion, allowing students to engage with professionals, explore Lyon’s history, and participate in cultural events.

This Summer School equips participants with a deeper understanding of European business environments, intercultural competencies, and practical insights for future international careers.

Program content

The Summer School combines academic sessions, workshops, and interactive group projects, focusing on International Business and Cultural Insights. Students will gain knowledge in international business development, global strategy, and cross-cultural management, while exploring French culture and society.

Field Trips & Cultural Activities

 Maison des Canuts (Silk Weaving Museum): Discover Lyon’s silk-weaving heritage and the history of the Silk Road.

Lumière Institute: Explore the birthplace of cinema and the legacy of the Lumière brothers.

Guided visit of Lyon: Experience the city’s historical and modern architecture.

Annecy Day Trip: Visit the ‘Venice of the Alps’ to explore medieval architecture, canals, and natural landscapes.

Admission & eligibility

Open to undergraduate and postgraduate students. Minimum English proficiency: B1 or equivalent.


Applications are accepted from students worldwide, including direct applicants and students from EKLYA’s partner universities/schools.

Programme Budget

Cost per student (excluding accommodation): €1,150.
Accommodation assistance available upon request.
