The history of EKLYA School of Business: timeline and key Events
1966 : Creation of the CEPC (Center for Commercial Studies and Development) in Lyon. The foundation stone of an institution dedicated to training business leaders and retailers.
1975 : Founding of the IPCL (Institute for Commercial Promotion of Lyon) to train job seekers in sales. EKLYA begins to build a reputation in the field of professional training.
1984 : Launch of the Higher Institute of Sales Forces, in partnership with the National Union of Sales Force professionals, offering training specifically dedicated to sales professions.
1993 : The Young Tradesmen Training Institute (IFJC) becomes the School of Commerce and Distribution (ECD), marking a new step in the specialization of training.
2015 : The School of Commerce and Distribution (ECD) becomes the EKLYA School of Business. The beginning of a new era for the school, with a strong identity and a stronger foothold in the world of higher education in business.
2017 : Inauguration of the Écully campus, bringing together EKLYA, ESMAE, and HYBRIA, three leading business schools, under one roof.
